The association “Friends of Lacassagne” welcomes the French pianist Jean-Marc LUISADA this Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Nice Opera for a charity concert.
This event is organized for the benefit of the Antoine-LACASSAGNE Center, to purchase a state-of-the-art interventional radiology table which provides an effective alternative to conventional surgery.
After studying piano in Paris and then at the Yehudi Menuhin School of Music, Jean-Marc Luisada won first prize at the National Conservatory of Music of Paris in 1977 and won the Dino Ciani competition in Italy in 1983, then in 1985, he was a laureate of the Warsaw Chopin competition.
He is considered “the enchanter, the humanist at his instrument, the man with his passion, his love of art, sculpting his sounds in an imaginary white marble, erecting a true Taj Mahal in the clouds and this sky where he wanders with the music-loving angels delighted by his presence.”
