The trade union committee of the Mixed Syndicate for Floods, Development, and Water Management (SMIAGE) has unanimously re-elected Charles Ange Ginésy, President of the Departmental Council, as President of SMIAGE:
“SMIAGE is a tool at the heart of our necessary revolution in water consumption. It brings a supra-municipal and interdepartmental vision to each watershed, which is essential for acting in favor of protecting our high valley water towers and for actively participating in good water management downstream. This is to ensure an essential solidarity today, which will become even more crucial in the years to come in the face of climate change,” declared Charles-Ange Ginésy on the sidelines of the assembly’s work.
