Loyal to his proactive policy and to a protagonism that is already not lacking (and which, moreover, proves to be beneficial on the electoral level… if it works why change?), Christian Estrosi has launched a Ségur de la Santé made in Nice.
“This pact—pompously named the Public Health Pact—will allow for a local contribution to the Ségur de la Santé, a major consultation with the health system actors launched by the government on May 25th,” stated the mayor of Nice during the first session dedicated to liberal professions.
A series of meetings, notably with the university hospital agents, private entities and associations, private and associative establishments, and pharmacists, to gather ideas and testimonies from all local health actors, will follow this first session.
Since he embraced the cause of the territories, Christian Estrosi only swears by decentralization and proximity.
With this Nice Ségur, he wishes “to allow mayors to have the means to build, as close to the ground as possible, a true local health policy, by constructing multidisciplinary facilities, fighting against medical deserts, […]”.
The conclusion of this extensive consultation is already announced: “We must restore flexibility and autonomy to our territories, also in terms of health.”
As they say… follow the guide!
