On the occasion of Vaccination Week, which takes place from the 24th to the 30th, Christian Estrosi is calling on the Minister of Solidarity and Health, Agnès Buzyn, to cover the vaccination for the HPV virus.

Papillomaviruses, known as HPV viruses, are currently responsible for more than 6,300 cancers per year in women and men. Currently, vaccination against the papillomavirus is recommended and partially reimbursed only for girls aged 11 to 14, with a catch-up possible until age 19, homosexual men under 26, and patients with weakened immune systems.

Since 2016, the City of Nice has undertaken the Vacci’Nice operation to promote access to vaccination at all ages of life and thereby contribute to reducing inequalities in access to healthcare.
