Thus, Franรงois Bertrand has been appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the City of Nice. Formerly the Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Territories and Mobility of the Essonne Department, he took up his duties on February 1, 2024. Rabah Souchi, who was previously the head of the Public Road Unit at the National Police, is now the Deputy Director of the Municipal Police and will start his duties on February 12, 2024.
The former Director of European and International Relations of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council, Florent-Serge Stora, is now the Director of International Relations for the City of Nice and the Nice Cรดte d’Azur Metropolis. He officially took up his duties on February 5, 2023.
These appointments have been made in order to promote established priorities in terms of security, international influence, port activities, and to successfully carry out current and upcoming major projects in the coming years.
