Certainly!

This March, movie releases are particularly generous. As every Wednesday, we offer you this week’s selection.

1. La chambre des merveilles by Lisa Azuelos

Louis, 12 and a half, is in a coma after being hit by a truck. His mother, Thelma, discovers his diary in which he lists all the experiences he wishes to have in his lifetime. Determined to wake him by any means possible, she makes the daring bet to accomplish the “ten things to do before the end of the world” he had set and to tell him about them. However, this journey into her child’s dreams will take her much further than she thought.

2. 65 – The Land Before by Scott Beck & Bryan Woods

After a terrible crash on an unknown planet, pilot Mills discovers that he actually crash-landed on Earth, 65 million years ago. With Koa, the sole surviving passenger of the crash, he must find his way through uncharted land populated with dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures, as time is running out. An emotionally-driven film due to the different motivations of the two characters. It features action, adventure, and above all, two endearing characters who do everything they can to survive despite accumulating difficulties.

3. Sage-Homme by Jennifer Devoldere

The film tells the story of Léopold, a student who failed the entrance exam for medical school and is forced to join the midwifery school. Without any real convictions about this exclusively female environment, his encounter with Nathalie, an experienced and passionate midwife, changes his perspective on this fascinating world and shakes up his certainties. Sage-Homme is a coming-of-age story set in the hospital environment, particularly that of midwives, where many clichés still persist.

4. Crazy Bear by Elizabeth Banks

In 1985, a shipment of cocaine disappeared after the plane carrying it crashed. In reality, it was ingested by a brown bear. This dark comedy, inspired by real events, follows a group of people converging at the heart of the forest, where a raging super-predator, hungry for blood, roams. A film where humor blends with suspense, which turns its unabashed absurdity into a surprising spectacle.

5. Emily by France O’Connor

This biopic directed by France O’Connor takes us through the life of Emily Brontë, the famous 19th-century English author. Throughout the film, we discover an artist as enigmatic as she is provocative, and her initiatory journey that led her to write her masterpiece, Wuthering Heights. A tribute to exaltation, difference, and femininity.
