This Thursday, June 29, for the close of the season, a final show dedicated to seniors was presented at the Thรฉรขtre de Verdure. Christian Estrosi was present to inaugurate this final spectacle.
Throughout the year, the City of Nice offers cultural, sports, and leisure activities for those over 55. Access to culture is particularly appreciated by the people of Nice. It was within this framework that the Thรฉรขtre de Verdure filled its stands during the last performance dedicated to the seniors of Nice. The show presented aimed to be a story of time. A story of time that passes and flows through us, as evidenced by the title of the show “Through Time.” This performance was presented by the Azur event company Goldnback. Different medleys of well-known songs, each lasting between 14 and 18 minutes, revived the memories of our seniors. Furthermore, hats and fans were essential to combat the scorching heat of this late afternoon!
Thus, filled with pride, the Mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, addressed the seniors before the show. He recalled that this year triumphantly ended with “550 activities for 18,000 seniors.” Finally, to crown all these Nice initiatives, Christian Estrosi announced that in December the city would be awarded the title of “Senior-Friendly City!”
## A Story of Time
Tonight at the Thรฉatre de Verdure, there was something for everyone. Indeed, the chosen sets appeared as a real chronological timeline. The spectators thus traveled through time: prehistoric, medieval, baroque, retro, yรฉyรฉ… A show that highlights a desire to trace the evolution of humanity. An evolution illustrated by the greatest standards of French song and international classics.
