If there is one place where anything is possible, it is the theater… Perhaps that’s why the city of Nice is organizing the “Senior Theater Festival” for the second year? Award ceremony this Thursday, October 17 at 2:30 PM at the Francis Gag Theater.
In any case, theater is the ultimate form of senior activity, because not only does it exercise memory, but it also allows, by playing several roles, to live multiple lives.
Last year, four troupes were in the running, this year there are seven:
The troupe “Les comédiens du hasard” from Vence presents Les Bonnes by Jean Genet;
The troupe “ONPA” presents L’Onpa s’éclate en scènes;
The troupe “Poivre et Sel” presents Du poivre, du sel et des piments;
The troupe “Compagnie Albatros” from Saint-Laurent du Var presents Voisins de palier by Pierre Thareau;
The troupe “L’écho Errant” presents Pièces démontées;
The troupe “UNIA” presents Tableaux et pièces en un acte;
The troupe “Compagnie cent causes” presents Un fil à la patte by Georges Feydeau.
Since last Friday, October 4, these senior troupes have taken up the challenge and offered their shows to the public, in Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Nice, and Vence.
Program for this closing afternoon:
2:30 PM: Comic show by the “Passtout” from the Theater of Philippe Bouvard.
4:00 PM: Announcement of results and award presentation.
