According to this association, the teaching of Nissart and Provençal in the colleges and high schools of the Nice Academy is under threat of disappearing.
And this is despite many years where the teaching of Occitan-language of Oc in secondary schools (colleges and high schools) of the Nice Academy has experienced an ever-increasing demand from students and their families.
SNES has decided to publicly share its concerns regarding the future of our region’s language within the National Education system.
