16 new coronavirus patients have been identified today in the Alpes-Maritimes department. To date, the number of people affected by the coronavirus Covid-19 stands at 73. The Nice University Hospital is currently developing outpatient care for 17 patients.
On a national level, the report shows 5,400 cases and 120 deaths.
These patients are being cared for by the infectious diseases department of the Nice University Hospital, the Cannes hospital center, and the Lenval Foundation.
Among these 16 patients, a 13-year-old child was hospitalized at the Lenval Foundation; the other patients are aged between 31 and 74 years.
The health condition of the positive patients being treated is not causing any concern; only the situation of the Italian patient detected on February 29, originally from Lombardy, remains worrying.
