Three days after the end of the outdoor mask-wearing mandate, the French are returning to an almost normal life with the lifting of the curfew that was established eight months ago, thanks to the decrease in infections.

France, one of the European countries most affected by the virus with more than 110,000 deaths, was one of the last to maintain such a measure along with Italy and Greece.

According to data published by Santรฉ publique France, 1,815 new cases of Covid-19 were detected in the last 24 hours. 84,311 patients suffering from the virus have died in hospitals, including 14 more since the day before. 307 people have been admitted to critical care in the last seven days.
