Covid-19: The improvement is indeed there (4,352 patients hospitalized in critical care)

This Friday, Santé Publique France reports new declines in the Covid-19 epidemic numbers across the country, with 4,352 patients in intensive care, a number that has been continuously decreasing for several days.

In hospitals, 23,406 patients are currently being treated following an infection with the new coronavirus.

Santé Publique France also reports 173 new deaths. In total, since the beginning of the epidemic, more than 107,300 people with Covid-19 have lost their lives in France.

The Directorate General of Health records a new increase in the vaccination numbers, with 19,706,931 people having received at least one dose, and among them, 8,705,141 people having received both vaccine injections. This accounts for 16.6% of the adult population being vaccinated.
