New report: 27,425 deaths (+351), nearly 3,000 patients in intensive care.
The Directorate General of Health delivered the daily report on the epidemic.
Here are the key figures to remember:
– Since March 1st, 27,425 people related to COVID-19 have died (+351), including 17,224 deaths in hospitals and 10,201 deaths in social and medico-social establishments.
– 20,463 people are hospitalized for a COVID-19 infection, and 542 new admissions (compared to 728 a week ago) were recorded in the past 24 hours. 2,299 patients suffering from a severe form of COVID-19 are hospitalized in intensive care. 52 new severe cases were admitted to intensive care (compared to 99 a week ago). The balance remains negative in intensive care, with 129 fewer COVID-19 patients compared to yesterday.
– Since the beginning of the epidemic, 97,844 people have been hospitalized, including more than 17,000 in intensive care. 59,605 people have returned home.
