It is a symbolic milestone: France has surpassed the 50 million mark for complete vaccination schedules, indicated Santé publique France.*
This means that more than 50 million people have received two doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, or AstraZeneca vaccine; a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or at least one dose of another vaccine if they had already contracted the virus in the past; or three doses if they are immunocompromised or prioritized individuals.
These 50,006,445 people represent 74.2% of the total French population. Additionally, 51,200,135 people have received at least a first vaccine injection in France, which is 75.9% of the French population.
