The Great Summer Fair (Grande Foire dโEtรฉ) opens in Cuneo from August 28 to September 7, serving as a true international exhibition. Spanning over 30,000 mยฒ with various exhibition pavilions, this fair offers the public a plethora of ideas in architecture, decoration, wellness, tourism, as well as the latest technological trends for the home and business.
Originally conceived as an opportunity to promote the excellent products of the Cuneo province, the GFE, celebrating its 33rd anniversary this year, has gradually transformed into an event bringing together exhibitors and visitors from all over the North-West of Italy, as well as from the cross-border region of Provence-Alpes-Cรดte dโAzur.
As evidence of this, the renewed presence for the second consecutive year of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Nice will showcase a 150 mยฒ space dedicated to the Cรดte dโAzur and the economic and tourism realities of the Mediterranean basin. Institutions such as the Chamber of Trades and Crafts, the Tourism Offices of Cagnes-sur-Mer, Grasse, Vence, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Saint Laurent du Var, and Nice, along with significant companies from the economic and productive sectors such as CARI for construction and the Partouche Casino of Beaulieu for leisure will present their activities through an exhibition space and Franco-Italian conferences. Typical producers of Provencal scents, Marseille soaps, oil, and gastronomic specialties will delight the palates and senses of the Italians. In total, about fifteen companies from the Azurean region will be present to promote tourism and more broadly the economy of South-East France.
The goal is to consolidate and enhance economic and cultural relations between the two countries, particularly by focusing on the potential for reciprocal exchanges offered by the proximity of the two territories.
