Ligoa Duncan, niece of the famous artist and daughter of Raymond Duncan, Isadora’s brother who opened a dance school in Nice, will honor us with her presence at the dance conference organized around her sister on Saturday, April 4, 2009, at 2:30 PM.
She will include excerpts from Isadora Duncan’s repertoire, performed by two specialists: Elisabeth Schwartz, dancer, choreographer, and historian, and Catherine Gallant, dancer and choreographer from New York.
Three pieces from the Duncan repertoire will be performed by dancers in training from Nice: the dance section of the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis, the Off Jazz Center, and the Regional Conservatory.
