Dany Brillant is a Mediterranean: he has sunshine in his veins. The author of “Quand je vois tes yeux” and “Suzette” will perform on November 18, 2010, at 8:30 PM at the Palais de la Méditerranée in Nice with a show that is deliberately sunny. With nearly 25 years of career behind him, the Tunisian singer returns to the stage with the “Salsa Tour” show. In this performance, he will sing songs from his latest album: Puerto Rico. Among his titles are: “Si c’était à refaire”, “Dis-moi que tu m’aimes” and “My way”. It promises to be rich in invigorating percussion and flamboyant brass. “Salsa is the rhythm that gives life, that conveys the joy of existence.” No wonder he wanted to go back, not to Havana this time, but to the other capital of salsa: Puerto Rico. “It was born in Cuba, but Puerto Rico modernized it,” he explains. It is said that Puerto Rico and Havana are the two wings of the same bird that is the salsa, the hottest music on the planet.
