The boxer from the “Pugilist Club Niçois,” Denis Saïoni, at 37 years old, is ending his professional career. This Thursday, November 29th, Christian Estrosi, Deputy Mayor of Nice and President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, will pay a heartfelt tribute to the Nice boxer.
A former specialist in kickboxing, he turned to English boxing in 2001.
In the under 72.5 kg category, he won the French championship title in 2004, the WBF international belt in 2011, and in July 2012, during the Nice event “100% sport,” he won his first European title by claiming the EBA middleweight belt against Hungarian Jozsef Matolcsi.
