Organized in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, the first edition of the Dîner des Rêves raised 52,500 euros. This amount will be donated to benefit two institutions in Nice dedicated to health and culture.
On March 24th, the prestigious Hôtel Royal Riviera hosted the first edition of the Dîner des Rêves. A charitable event bringing together around a hundred guests for a gala dinner. Co-organized by Benjamin Mondou, president of the endowment fund of TNN (Théâtre National de Nice), and Nicolas Bianco, a contemporary artist from Nice. This evening combining gastronomy and art aimed to support two local organizations: the Fondation Lenval and the Théâtre National de Nice.
The central highlight of the event, the auction, conducted by Damien Messager, featured 35 marble works by Nicolas Bianco. All the artworks were sold, contributing to the success of the evening. A remarkable performance that allowed for the collection of 52,500 euros, a significant amount evenly distributed between the two organizations.
Each received 26,250 euros to support their respective initiatives in the fields of health, especially for children, and culture. “Participants did not just acquire beautiful artworks, they mainly contributed to supporting two essential causes, sick children and culture, which deeply touch us all,” emphasizes Benjamin Mondou.
A success that already calls for a sequel
Encouraged by the enthusiasm generated this year, the organizers are already planning a new edition next year in Nice, with the ambition to remain true to its values while exploring new perspectives.
In turn, Nicolas Bianco adds: “It is in this spirit that we wish to organize this event again next year, this time involving a diversity of artists to open up new horizons, while staying true to the essential: solidarity in the service of noble causes.”
