Economy: The unemployment rate continued to decrease (to 8.2%)

Amplifying the decline already observed in the previous quarter, when it had reached its lowest point in ten years.

Calculated according to the standards of the International Labour Organization (ILO), it decreased by 0.2 percentage points in the spring to reach 8.2% in mainland France, according to figures published this Wednesday morning by Insee.

During this period, France had 66,000 fewer unemployed people, totaling 2.4 million individuals.

Across the entire country, excluding Mayotte, the decrease is also evident: the unemployment rate reached 8.5%, again down by 0.2 percentage points.
