EDHEC supports its students in business creation: the EYE incubator as the spearhead.

Latest News

Each year, recent graduates from the EDHEC Business School group create over 100 companies. To encourage their students and support them in their endeavors, the group founded “EDHEC Young Entrepreneurs (EYE)” in 2010.

In one of the lecture halls on the EDHEC campus in Nice, a few recent or soon-to-be graduates come to present their companies.

EYE was founded with a specific purpose. Beyond supporting their young graduates, EDHEC aims to play an active role in the economic development of its regions. For this reason, the group does not hesitate to follow their alumni, who have projects for starting a business, all across France.

“My name is Nicolas Demarchez, and I am a young entrepreneur, 23 years old.” Here to present his third creation, Nicolas Demarchez does not forget to thank this EDHEC incubator, “thanks to whom this was possible.”

This young man recently created an application “that ensures our safety and that of our loved ones.” Using a slideshow projected on the screen, he explains that this application signals or alerts the police or loved ones of a nearby danger or if the individual is directly involved.

Other recent graduates also came to present their startups. For most, it involves the creation of various applications.

The EYE incubator of the EDHEC group thus encourages creation and innovation among young people. An initiative that creates employment and competition. Good news for the economy.

Today, EYE is working on 50 projects currently in progress.
