Euro 2016: There’s more than just football in the city…

This afternoon, the Fan Zone activities located on the Quai des Etats-Unis will host a radio show that will highlight everything that is not football at the heart of this Euro 2016 and the Nice Fan Zones. Come attend the show or listen to it live on Nice Premium La Radio.

On Angรฉlique Alastaโ€™s program, guests who are at the core of the Euro organization effort, such as Deputy Prefect Sรฉbastien Humbert, who will talk about security and prevention, and Julien Arnold (Director of Sports for the City of Nice), who will reveal how the two Nice Fan Zones operate as true daily successes.

On the set, there will also be local associations that contribute each day to the animation of the City of Nice’s stand through actions, exhibitions, and workshops, like first aid gestures. There will, of course, be talks on prevention with Quentin Matton from G Addiction, who leads the nighttime wandering campaigns in Vieux-Nice to inform young people about the risks associated with alcohol or drug use, and Jean-Pierre Paringaux, spearhead of Sida Info Service Animation, who will discuss sexual health prevention and the importance of testing.

It will also be an opportunity to discuss the accessibility of the Fan Zones and its importance in the city during these large events with Jacques Dejandile, Deputy Mayor in charge of Disability, and also a journalist for France Tรฉlรฉvision in the Tรฉlรฉ Matin program.
