From October 1 to 11, 2015, Nice will host the European Masters Games. Join us this Thursday, October 2 at 6:30 PM at Place Massena in Nice for the opening of registrations for the European Masters Games 2015, during a big festive evening.
Starting at 8:30 PM, it will be possible to register on-site for the European Masters Games.
For Christian Estrosi, rightly proud that Nice is the host city for this international event: “Our country must implement measures for the promotion of Physical and Sporting Activities in France aimed at the elderly… The Masters Games in Nice will thus be an example at the national level.”
Veteran athletes coming from the four corners of the globe.
For 11 days, these athletes from around the world will experience the multiple competitions and numerous festivities planned by the host city, such as the opening and closing ceremonies. A Games Village will be set up in the heart of the Promenade du Paillon, a 9-ha garden right in the center of Nice.
Renowned sports figures like Stéphane Diagana, Camille Muffat, Loïc Piétri, Laurent Tillie, Alizé Cornet, Jeff Tordo, Valérie Nicolas, Christophe Pinna, and Jean-Pierre Dick have mobilized for this grand event. Prestigious patrons, some of whom will also participate in the competitions.
