And to make the comparison completely fair, Eurostat estimated the GDP in purchasing power standards, which means taking into account the differences between national price levels.
France is above the average (26,600 โฌ/ph) with 28,400 โฌ and an index of 107, while the PACA region stands at 27,200 โฌ with an index of 102.
At the top of this ranking is Greater London, where the GDP is 86,400 euros per capita, which is more than three times the European average (26,600 euros per capita)!
รle-de-France ranks 8th on this list, with 46,600 euros per capita, which is nearly twice the European average.
In general, the least prosperous regions are located in Eastern Europe, particularly in Bulgaria and Romania.
