Sheila E. is undoubtedly the most well-known percussionist in the world. She has recorded, played, and/or toured (percussion and/or drums and vocals) with Prince, George Duke, Lionel Richie, Herbie Hancock, Gloria Estefan, Stevie Nicks, Ringo Starr, and many others. She has also been a MD (musical director) for artists including Beyoncé and Jennifer Lopez.

And it is in this capacity that she returns after a notable absence with a rather surprising album, between salsa and rock music, where she showcases both her undeniable talent as a percussionist and singer: “Mona Lisa” (the “single” of the album), “Rockstar”, “I’ll give you that”, “Lovely day”, “Leader of the Band” (with Prince), so many catchy and varied titles, so many potential hits that confirm the importance of her return to recording and the stage.
