Until November 30, 2011 – Maison de l’Environnement – 31, av. Castellane
Throughout November, the Maison de l’Environnement is hosting an original exhibition on the theme of Nice’s biodiversity, presented by the association Le Tigre Rouge, winner of the first Environment Trophies.
This playful exhibition, entitled “The Essence of Nice,” is part of an eco-citizen initiative.
Ø Each artwork is made up of various surprising recycled materials: plastic bottles, tiles, polished glass pieces, as well as plum and apricot pits, lemon seeds, yogurt cups, tree branch leftovers, mussel shells, or milk cartons!
Through 12 compositions, the exhibition allows for the rediscovery of our city’s must-see sites, such as Place Masséna, Cimiez, or the Negresco…
Opening hours of the Maison de l’Environnement:
Tuesday to Thursday from 9 AM to 6 PM, Friday from 2 PM to 6 PM, and Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM. Closed on Sunday and Monday.
Guided tours are available: a special tour for young audiences with games about biodiversity and a special tour for visually impaired individuals.
