Eros Ramazzotti was born on October 28, 1963, in Cinecittà, Rome. From a very young age, he was thrust into the entertainment industry and landed extra roles in films. But he had only one desire: to become a singer. He attempted to join the Conservatory but was rejected at the entrance exam. He then abandoned his musical dreams and tried studying accounting. However, his musical ambitions caught up with him. In 1984, during the San Remo festival, the general public discovered this new voice of Italian music with the song “Terra Promessa.” In the mid-90s, Eros Ramazzotti hit the jackpot by signing a contract with BMG.
