As stated in the fake letter, the amount of these fines is around thirty euros and are to be paid to a bailiff purportedly located in Marseille (Picaso Office, located at 10 rue de la République, 13001 Marseille).
IMPORTANT: People who have received this letter are asked not to pay and not to call the premium rate number listed in the letter.
PROCEDURE TO FOLLOW: You must go either to the Departmental Safety – Auvare Barracks, 28 rue de Roquebillière in Nice, requesting the financial section, or to the nearest police station to identify yourself.
