In its ongoing commitment to healthcare professionals, Groupe Pasteur Mutualité organizes an annual solidarity event, in collaboration with the association “Les Bouffons de la Cuisine,” aimed at supporting health students.
This year, the initiative extends throughout all of France with the mission of distributing 1000 meals. To combat food insecurity among the student population and to promote a healthy diet.
In the face of the challenges of food insecurity, where nearly one in two health students skips at least one meal a month due to financial constraints, and only 43% have the resources needed to maintain a balanced diet, Groupe Pasteur Mutualité has decided to act. This year, the organization offers 1000 meals prepared by renowned chefs. To return to health students the pleasure of food that is both delicious, healthy, and balanced.
This solidarity operation extends over more than 15 cities throughout France. And this is thanks to the valuable collaboration of the chefs from Les Bouffons de la Cuisine. These chefs with a big heart mobilize to prepare quality meals that are out of the ordinary. To bring a bit of comfort into the sometimes challenging daily life of health students.
The initial dates of the operation demonstrate a strong commitment, with local partnerships in various French cities. In Grenoble, it was the star chef Christophe Aribert who inaugurated the event by preparing meals for the students of the Faculty of Medicine. This action then unfolded in Orléans, Rennes, Bordeaux, Brest, Metz, Nantes, Marseille, and in Paris, with the participation of two-star chef Michel Portos at the restaurant Mangeaver. The distribution on April 17th in Nice, at the Pasteur Hospital, was carried out in partnership with chef Denis Féraud.
The operation “1000 Solidarity Meals for Health Students” is conducted in partnership with Villa M. It benefits from the support of prevention and social action mutuals of Groupe Pasteur Mutualité, as well as the support of the Physician’s Mutual and the group Uneos.
