As the 2017/8 season approaches, particularly important because the schedule includes the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, the French Ski Federation has announced the selection of athletes who will be part of the national teams.
Among them are four athletes from Nice: Mathieu Faivre, who is registered at Isola 2000, and Matthieu and Margot Bailet, as well as Nastasia Noens who are registered at the Interclub of Nice.
While Matthieu Bailet (21 years old) will be part of team B, the other three can apply to participate in the 2018 Olympics.
Let us recall that the city of Nice had been a candidate for this edition of the Olympics but was defeated by Annecy to represent France.
