The city of Nice will organize a broadcast of the final between OGC Nice and RC Lens on May 22, 2026 on Place Masséna. Thousands of supporters are expected to follow the match while nearly 20,000 Nice residents will travel to the Stade de France.
The French Cup final between OGC Nice and RC Lens will be broadcast on a giant screen in Nice on May 22nd. The city of Nice is planning a vast space on Place Masséna, near the water mirror, to welcome supporters of the Gym.
During a public address, the mayor of Nice, Éric Ciotti confirmed on his social networks the organization of this popular event: “the city of Nice will provide a vast space to watch the French Cup with the Gym against Lens on May 22.
It will be at Place Masséna, on the water mirror, where we will be able to welcome thousands, more than a dozen thousand residents of Nice, who will come to support, encourage, back our team that will bring us the cup. So I announce to you tonight that we will have this event organized by the city for the French Cup on May 22.”
Nearly 20,000 places for Nice supporters at the Stade de France
The Stade de France will also welcome several thousand Côte d’Azur supporters. For this 2026 French Cup final, each finalist club has 19,600 tickets reserved for its supporters.
OGC Nice fans will be seated in the North stand of the Parisian stadium. Prices range from 29 to 120 euros depending on categories. Category 1 seats are offered at 120 euros, category 2 at 95 euros, category 3 at 79 euros, category 4 at 55 euros, and category 5 at 29 euros. No reduced rates are available.
Part of the allocation remains reserved for amateur clubs, districts and partners of the French Football Federation. A final quota will be put on sale from May 12 on the FFF website, within the limit of available tickets.
Subscribers who are members of supporter associations benefit from specific access. Members of the Populare Sud can reserve seats in a dedicated area in order to remain grouped together.
Travel options still limited to Paris
The question of transportation continues to provoke reactions among Nice supporters. Several thousand people are still looking for solutions to reach Paris on May 22.
OGC Nice has reserved, through the Couleur Sports agency, several hundred seats on commercial TGV trains departing from Nice, as well as from Aix-en-Provence and Toulon. Journeys are offered with departures spread between Friday and Saturday, as well as a Navigo pass for Île-de-France transportation on match day.
These offers remain reserved for ticket holders for the final. In parallel, the club is also promoting a carpooling solution between supporters with the StadiumGO platform.
Anticipation is growing around this French Cup final. OGC Nice is aiming for a first national trophy in 29 years. Before the Stade de France appointment, the Gym must also ensure its Ligue 1 survival in the last two matches against Auxerre and Metz.
