The Côte d’Azur was bound to have its grand Modern and Contemporary Art fair.
It’s a real revolution in the art world, to which Art Affair invites you on the Croisette, right in the heart of the Cannes Film Festival. The International Carlton Hotel will have the privilege of hosting for the first time this large-scale international event, where around twenty galleries from around the world have arranged to meet for this occasion. They will present some of the major and influential artists of the current scene of modern and contemporary art, as well as emerging artists and artists from the Côte d’Azur, such as Patrick Moya and Ben.
At the helm of this fabulous artistic project are two renowned personalities in the art world, especially Across the Atlantic, who have decided to combine their shared passions by creating Art Affair Cannes’10:
– Jean Bernard, a collector turned gallery owner and creator of highly acclaimed art events from Miami to Paris,
– Debra Arman, historical muse of Andy Warhol and Keith Haring, a member of the family of the famous sculptor ARMAN.
As a true artistic and cultural hub, Art Affair Cannes’10 aims to be innovative by offering everyone a new perspective on modern and contemporary art. The choice of the city of Cannes was evident, as the Côte d’Azur is a melting pot of artists as prestigious as Picasso, Renoir, and Léger. This region was destined to have its prestigious art fair, and this is achieved with Art Affair Cannes’10!
