“The unemployment figures are, once again, bad.” The municipal councilor from the National Front unleashes a volley against a state (of affairs?) unable to stop this spiral.

Beyond the national climate, it appears that our region is particularly affected by this unemployment surge with +1.1% in September. An identical figure to that of the Alpes-Maritimes department, placing our territory in the PACA average…
A small consolation for those who now find themselves unemployed, but above all a mediocre result when compared to the major announcements made by the Mayor of Nice regarding employment.
So Mr. Mayor:
- Where are the 50,000 jobs promised in 2012 with the creation of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis?
- Where are the 27,000 jobs that were supposed to be induced by the Eco-Valley Project?
- More simply, what have you done with the Eco-Valley project?
Without wealth creation, there are merely job displacements, hollow announcements, and ultimately, mediocre results.
