The Maralpine Olympism has chosen the team that will have the responsibility of continuing the activity after a first term: it is the team led by the outgoing Philippe Manassero, who was elected unanimously, as a sign and recognition of the good work done during the last four years.
Philippe Manassero reminded the presidents of the sports discipline committees, who are the electoral base, that “the role of the CDOS as a driving and unifying force is essential,” especially in light of the 2018 merger of the two regional committees (Côte d’Azur and Provence Alpes), which will create the CROS PACA. This will require a close proximity role for the departmental body.
The activity report from the general secretary Manuel Dureuil and that of the treasurer Erci Tanguy reviewed a diverse and intense activity as well as the healthy state of finances.
The traditional presentation of awards to athletes and volunteers concluded the ceremony, which took place in a convivial atmosphere.
