Each year, a national theme sheds particular light on an original or innovative aspect of heritage, promoting unprecedented openings and remarkable events (guided tours, demonstrations of expertise, concerts, theatrical performances, themed tours).

The theme chosen for the 2012 edition is hidden heritage. Indeed, heritage continues to exert a deep fascination through the countless traces left by human communities over the centuries. The purpose of these Days is to illuminate or unveil the treasures that surround us.
