Valente (8 goals) and Abdelmalek (6), through their performances, kept their team in with a solid chance of advancing. Sako (2/12) and Colic (6/19) also contributed significantly.
With the return of some injured players, OGC Nice should be able to win next Friday’s second leg match, which would mean qualifying for the semi-finals and European competitions.
