On Friday, August 3, and Saturday, August 4, 2012, the handiplage at Ponteil in Antibes will host the final stage of the Handi Voile 06 Tour.
The Alpes-Maritimes General Council, in partnership with the Departmental Sailing Committee, and the host municipality, is organizing for the seventh consecutive year the Handi Voile 06 Tour and offers free activities accessible to people with disabilitiesโany disabilityโand seniors at various handiplages sites.
At each stage of the 2012 Handi Voile 06 Tour, four one-hour sea outings are offered aboard trimarans from the Departmental Sailing Committee 06 and canoes-kayaks, with or without an instructor. They can accommodate around twenty people for sailing and four to six for canoeing.
Departures are scheduled at 9:30 am, 11:00 am, 1:30 pm, and 3:00 pm with prior reservations.
To enhance participants’ awareness of this theme, a Charter “The Sea, My Nature” was created to highlight the values of nautical activities in respecting the environment.
