Back-to-School Solidarity, where big-hearted bikers managed to transform a huge outpouring of solidarity into a genuine tsunami of generosity! Disadvantaged children will be able to start the school year equipped like all other children. Equality also comes through these small gestures.
Led in partnership with the Lenval Foundation and the AC Marriott Hotel in Nice, and aimed at hospitalized children, it allowed the collection of 1,300 kg of school supplies in 3 days at the three largest stores in the region: Carrefour Nice Lingostière, Auchan La Trinité, and Galeries Lafayette Cap 3000.
The MIR association, which operates in Ariane, will also be a beneficiary.
About thirty volunteers were present for this operation, distributed across the 3 collection sites, and an incredible generosity and attentiveness from the public who responded by making a donation for the children.
The Harley of the Heart is a well-tuned charitable machine, and their big hearts work wonders because they beat in unison with those whom life has marginalized or weakened, even for a brief moment or unfortunately more persistently, such as hospitalized children or adults with disabilities.
The association was founded 27 years ago by Claude Abejan, who is still the president.
