High temperatures in the Alpes-Maritimes department Triggering of level 3 – heatwave alert

Météo France has just placed the Alpes-Maritimes department on
“ORANGE” heatwave alert.

Several consecutive days of high temperatures are expected. The phenomenon is likely to last until the end of the week.

According to the weather forecasts, maximum temperatures are expected to average 32°C in the coastal area and 36 to 38°C in the highlands during the day, while night temperatures could average 26 to 28°C in the coastal area and 22 to 23°C in the highlands.
