In this “scribes” derby, Les Rapaces started their trip to Nice very well with a brace from Romain Gutierrez.
Danick Crête gave the Eagles hope just before the end of the first period. Gap dashed Nice’s hopes as Eric Blais’s men won the second period three goals to none, bringing the score to 5-1 with 20 minutes left on the clock.
In the final period, both teams scored once each. Gap secured their third victory in as many games.
