The Great Day of Steeplechase marks the conclusion of the Steeplechase Meeting at the Côte d’Azur Racecourse each year. This event, taking place on Sunday, January 9th, is among the most spectacular of the winter meeting and includes exceptional races: the Grand Prix de la Ville de Nice (Grand Steeple Chase over 4,600 meters, richly endowed), the Grande Course de Haies de Cagnes, the Prix Christian de l’Hermite, and the Prix André Masséna. The festivities begin around 1:20 PM. Surrounding these unmissable races is an especially enticing attraction: athletes from the HORSEMAN TEAM will present a show of obstacle jumps performed by men on foot!
