Humanice, the association of UNS medical students, is organizing a conference this Tuesday, the 13th at 6:00 PM at the Faculty (Vallembrose Street) on the theme of fighting against excision.
Actions by the association Un Enfant par la Main, which is particularly active on the ground in Ethiopia, will be presented.
Françoise Capponi, a delegate in the Alpes-Maritimes, and Frédéric Burdy, a sponsor in Ethiopia, will speak at this conference.
Based on their experience, which will be shared with the participants, “if we do nothing, in the next 10 years, 30 million girls will suffer these acts of violence and mutilations.”
They will also discuss the obstacles to the emancipation of girls and the possible solutions to implement in order to protect their fundamental rights.
