Last Friday. Wanted to start the weekend off right. I headed to Mougins to enjoy the afterwork at Mas Candilleโฆ
Perseverance pays off. There’s nothing like laconic text messages on my phone to pique my curiosity, like “I invite you to the most beautiful Latin evening at Mas Candille” or “Dare to embrace the colors at the afterwork at Mas Candille.” It was the presence of Alain Illel, former Theater Director in Paris and human relations consultant, that motivated me with an improvisation workshop.
Except that once there, I got caught up by other sirens: notably the music of DJ Ben, the host of the Gotha beach. And I realized I was thirsty and hungryโฆ
INSTEAD OF GOING ON STAGE, I DEVOURED THEM!
Tarama caviar and blini board, salmon board, charcuterie board with its crunchy pickles, I tasted everything. Cheese or not. I hesitatedโฆ too long: that means no!
On the wine list, bubbles and three colors. I indulged in white with a glass of Chablis and an IGP Mรฉditerranรฉe just before the director of Mas Candille popped the cork on an Astoria Prosecco.
While I was dancing (I love it!), the lucky person accompanying me โ a true sweet tooth โ was eyeing the pastries: “small pastries served as an assortment at the end of a meal,” according to Larousse. I loved the fruit paste and the laughter, the pleasure of being there, in this earthly paradiseโฆ
I WILL RETURNโฆ
1/because I love the setting, the beautiful Lady of the Mas, the pool, and the breathtaking night view of Grasse.
2/because the atmosphere is fantastic.
3/because I love this kind of chic and relaxed initiatives.
4/because I didnโt win the test drive in the Aston Martin offered by the eponymous branch in Le Cannet, partner of the evening, even though itโs my favorite carโฆ
