A unique museum festival in France, organized by and for students, Mars aux Musées takes place in the museums of the City of Nice from March 2 to March 24 on the theme “From Here and Elsewhere”.
Three fundamental players bring this original event to life. The City of Nice and the University Nice Sophia Antipolis, the organizers of the event, work in close collaboration with the students of the Master 2 Professional in Event Management, Mediation and Cultural Engineering, who handle the programming.
Indeed, Mars aux Musées aims to provide students and young people under 26 with unexpected, surprising, and exceptional experiences, allowing them to discover the museums of Nice and spark their interest in art and culture.
This 16th edition will revolve around the theme “From Here and Elsewhere” and diversity, with 11 events organized in the museums of the City of Nice.
Every year, 3,000 students come to discover “Mars aux Musées”.
The 16th edition of the festival is also marked by a special feature: the 2017 cohort is “From Here and Elsewhere”, with French students as well as those from various countries around the world, such as Brazil, China, Congo, Russia, Morocco, and Mexico!
