The top scorer in the history of the Slovak Extraliga (955 points including 445 goals and 510 assists) scored a total of 41 points (20 goals, 21 assists) in 26 matches under the Eagles’ jersey in Division 1.
After a long period of reflection, he decided to return to his beloved club, HK SKP Proprad (Slovak Extraliga). It is indeed in Proprad where Arne played 17 of his 22 seasons.
For Stan Sutor, coach of the Eagles and former teammate of Krotak: “he has always been an example for the younger players and for his teammates.”
But at 40, Arne preferred to return home for family reasons, leaving behind many regrets among the Nice supporters.
