Nice and its club, Nice Hockey Côte d’Azur, are organizing the Under-18 Ice Hockey World Championship Division 1- Group A from April 13 to 19, 2014, at the Jean Bouin Ice Rink.
Nice Hockey Côte d’Azur has the honor of organizing the Under-18 Ice Hockey World Championship Division 1- Group A from April 13 to 19, 2014, at the Jean Bouin Ice Rink in Nice.
Six teams (France, Italy, Norway, Kazakhstan, Latvia, and Belarus) will compete to win the title that grants access to the elite of world hockey.
Fifteen matches on the Nice ice rink, the top-ranked team will directly enter the Elite, and the last will move down to Group B.
The opening ceremony will take place on Sunday, April 13 at 7:00 PM, followed by the France-Italy match.
The closing ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 19 at the end of the last World Championship match, France-Kazakhstan (kick-off at 7:30 PM).
