hockey_nice-47.jpg With only 3 training sessions and without the 2 Canadian recruits, the Azuréens made a good impression for this first match of the season.
The Eagles finished the 1st period with a score of 1-1, thanks to an imperial SKRECKO.

In the 2nd period, the Raptors were more effective in front of the goal and led 4-1 at the end of the 2nd period. It seemed the match was over, but the team from Nice managed to get past the Gap goalkeeper (4-2), and 2 minutes later, the Raptors regained the lead (5-2) at 43 minutes into the game. But in ice hockey everything happens very quickly, as the Azuréens proved by managing to equalize 30 seconds before the final whistle!

A penalty shootout followed, and it took until the 2nd series to determine the winner!
