In front of 1,200 spectators, the Nice team defeated Montpellier with a score of 5-2. They remain in 6th place and are getting closer to qualifying for the playoffs.
Despite the clear dominance of the Eagles, it was not until the third period that Nice managed to pull ahead. A complicated first period saw Montpellier take the lead and hold onto it until the break. The second period favored the Eagles, who reclaimed a position on the scoreboard. Then, despite a resurgence from Montpellier at the beginning of the third period, it was a perfect finish for Nice, who secured an impressive victory.
With this victory, the Eagles are moving closer to qualifying for the playoffs, which will begin in a month.
