On Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at 6 PM at the Théâtre de La Semeuse2, montée Auguste Kerl – Old Nice, Dominique Estrosi-Sassone, President of the Local Community Mission “Young Objective Nice Côte d’Azur” invites you to discover the projects carried out by young people for young people on the topic “Against addictions, young people say… action!”
The Local Community Mission Young Objective Nice Côte d’Azur is the winner of the 2011 call for projects by the DEXIA Foundation titled “Solidarity, citizenship, and culture in your communities.” Twenty-one young people followed by the local mission could carry out projects around the theme of health and more particularly addictions, in partnership with the training organizations REFLETS and LA CLEF 06.
This initiative has several objectives:
- To raise awareness among young people about the issue of addictions and provide them with communication tools made for them by other young people;
- To bring together young people in social and professional integration courses around a common project, involve them and thus give them confidence in their abilities;
- To disseminate these informational and preventive documents within structures receiving a young audience.
The projects that will be presented this Wednesday, March 21:
- Slam on the theme of addictions;
- Prevention posters against addictions;
- Theatrical debate with scenes on the themes: Adolescence and cyberaddictions – The harmful effects of alcohol, particularly in its relation to others – The harmful effects of tobacco – The consumption of illicit substances at parties, etc.
