This new residence complements the senior offerings of the DVD group in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, which currently includes 26 nursing homes and 3 service residences.
In a warm and friendly setting located in the Vallon des Sablières, this modern residence welcomes independent, semi-independent, or dependent individuals for short or long stays.
With a total capacity of 59 beds (including 16 beds for the Alzheimer unit), this residence offers:
An activity room, a Snoezelen space, a balneotherapy area, a physiotherapy room, a therapeutic garden, a library lounge, a hair salon, living spaces (3 lounges, 1 dining room, 2 TV lounges, 2 shaded patios).
A multidisciplinary care team provides medical care and assists with the daily activities of the residents.
Animation is a priority in the residence’s living project. Everyone is invited to participate according to their desires and pace in activities: shows, crafts, memory games, press reviews, conferences, shows, gentle gymnastics, singing… or cultural and therapeutic projects related to the heritage of the city of Nice, such as creating a mural of the Casino de la Jetée Promenade, which will also be inaugurated on Monday morning.
Let’s remember that the General Council supports this establishment with €376,000 per year to help care for the least independent individuals.
